Is the largest of the Canary Islands, well known since the 70’s as a popular tourist destination. Otherwise known as the island of eternal spring due to it’s fantastic year-round climate, stunning beaches, pine forests and right in the heart of the island stands the highest mountain in Spain, ‘Papa Teide’.
Before it was popular with tourists, Tenerife residents cultivated bananas and tomatoes, which are still cultivated today on a much lesser scale. Wine is also made on the island and has a very different taste due to the volcanic soil. There are many vineyards that showcase these local wines, most often with amazing local food.

WALKING & DAY TRIPS
