ABOUT LANZAROTE

Lanzarote was the first place in the world to receive a Biosphere Responsible Tourism award in 2015 due to it’s stunning volcanic landscapes that have been preserved by the locals over the years.  The eruptions that formed these incredible landscapes happened in the 18th and 19th century and have attracted tourism from all over the world.

The lava has produced incredible formations, caves, lava lakes and craters with beautiful golden sand beaches nestled in between.  There are many famous beaches in Lanzarote due to the clear crystal Atlantic water filled with sea life.

When visiting Lanzarote, you can expect to find a little bit of everything, from lively tourist hotspots, luxury hotels, camel riding, boat trips, heritage sites and even little peaceful spots where you can camp out for the day and simply enjoy the peace and quiet.
